This fixture had been named in memory of the late Lt Cdr Ian Molyneux GM who lost his life in 2011 whilst responding to a firearms incident onboard HMS Astute. This will be the fourth staging of the match with the Brothers securing victories and holding the Plate after the three previous meetings.
Head Coach Darren Bamford is eager to get the Brothers back out on the park in a competitive match with many of the Brothers due to deploy during the spring. The Teachers will also get some valuable game time in as well, ahead of the annual RL Presidents Cup series.
