This is the second time in the RNRL history that we have received this award the first time being in 2004 recognising the tremendous achievements made in securing the RL Inter Services Title for the first time.

Royal Navy Sports Awards 2022

We are thrilled to announce that the Royal Navy Rugby League have won the Royal Navy Sports Team Of The Year 2022!

The Royal Navy Sports Awards committee met earlier this week to sift through over 40 citations of the Royal Navy's accomplished teams, sportspersons, officials and coaches in preparation for the award ceremony later this year at Lord's Cricket Ground.

Based upon the outstanding achievement of the men’s team reaching the 4th round of the national Betfred Challenge Cup and the huge efforts the association has made to develop grassroots participation for both women and men - it was with great delight to select the Royal Navy Rugby League for the prestigious award.

The Association will be presented with their award in December along with the female, male, young, official, coach and sporting contribution!
