Once again the Village Hotel in Portsmouth provided a great venue for the event which included a full night of entertainment plus raffles, auctions and of course the Players Awards for our fantastic 2022 season.
We were pleased to be joined on the night the dinner by representatives from our valued sponsors, NAAFI, Juniper Networks, QinetiQ, Royal British Legion, Fujitsu and Forces Mutual with many ex-players making the journey to Portsmouth including a ‘section’ of former Royal Marines!
The final total of money raised for the In Touch Charity is still being calculated but a massive thanks to all those who bought raffle tickets and bid at the Auction even if not successful

Although it was great to see so many faces from the history of RNRL we were missing our Ladies team the Wrenegades. A large number of the ladies are cross code players involved in the days Inter Services Rugby Union match against the RAF in Plymouth. However, the Wrenegades will celebrate their awards at the training camp in May as they prepare to face the Golden Ferns in their first outing of the season.
The 2022 season men’s Players Awards winners were as follows:

All players from the triumphant Inter Services Seniors and Academy sides have been awarded Caps to mark the achievement, those present on the night received theirs with others to be distributed to players ships and units
