McCoy ‘Topsy’ Turner grew up in Lossiemouth, Scotland and joined the Royal Navy in 2000 where he served for 17 years as Physical Training Instructor, specialising as an Exercise Rehabilitation Instructor.

Topsy wore the RNRL shirt with pride in the early 2000’s and toured with the Brothers to Australia in 2007. Always a popular player and mentor to other players as well as newer members of the RN PT Branch. Our thoughts are with his family at his desperately sad time especially his two young sons, Brodie and Tommy as they come to terms with the loss of their Father.
