You will have spotted Charlies name on our team sheets for the past season or so playing at stand off or in the pack at 2nd Row. Charlie is now going on a one-man mission to raise funds for the InTouch RNRL Charity by challenging himself in the exhausting Endure 24.
In his own words meet Charlie Mattison!
“Ey up! I’m Charlie, a Leeds lad currently serving in the Royal Navy. I’m a current player for the RNRL. I’ve got a huge family with my 5 older brothers, shout out to you mother! An amazing girlfriend and precious pup Dougie.

On the 29th of June I am running Leeds Endure 24, I’m running this race because I want to push myself outside my comfort zone. Endure24 is a trail running race against the clock to tackle as many laps of the course at Bramham Park as you can within 24 hours. My aim is to run 100 miles for the charity In Touch RNRL which provides support to ex-players by helping them transition out of the service into civilian street, to obtain gainful employment and mentor them through any other unforeseen issues along the way. As well as helping current players with events such as the annual awards dinner. It would mean a lot to so many people if you could donate to a great cause. Thank you. Also if you would like to see how I’m getting on prepping for it follow my Strava”
Please donate and support Charlies efforts for this, the very best of causes
