Betfred Challenge Cup 2nd Round – Army RL v Royal Navy RL
A place in the third-round draw is at stake for the winners in probably the most eagerly awaited inter services clash of all time
This is the first time RNRL and ARL will meet in the Challenge Cup after 20 plus years of the two sides competing in the sports oldest knock out competition. The Brothers will travel to Aldershot on Saturday to face the old foes the Army in the contest which has sparked huge interest across the media since the teams secured their places in the Betfred Challenge Cup 2nd round 2 weeks ago.
The Rugby Stadium at Aldershot will be open, to all comers, from midday and admission is free to all. For those that cannot make it to the game the match is being streamed by both The Sportsman and our friends at BFBS.

What cannot be confirmed is the weather which at time of posting is looking pretty good, it is forecast to be a dry but cloudy day with a light breeze and a max temp of 10C.
