Following last weekend’s victorious clash with the RAF preparations are well underway for our tie against Thatto Heath at RNRL HQ Burnaby Road.

Thatto Heath Crusaders are based in St Helens with the Open age Men’s team competing in the NCL Premiership. A true community club boasting 15 other sides ranging from ‘Newbies’ age 6-7 through the age groups up to Open age and a Masters side not forgetting the Crusaders Womens team. Last season’s League campaign saw them finish mid table winning 10 of their 20 games not their best season as they are usually in the top three of the Premiership. Whilst we have never played Thatto Heath before the tenuous link to the two clubs is that they lost to the North Wales Crusader’s in the Challenge Cup 3rd round last year, the same team that inflicted a heavy defeat on the Brothers in Round 2.

As always at Burnaby Road entrance is free to all spectators both service and civilian with admission free to all plus bar facilities will be available.
Please remember however and in line with RN policy Burnaby Road is a non-smoking facility both indoors and out
